Lakefront Dental

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to go to the dentist twice a year?

We highly recommend patients visit our team at least every six months for dental checkups. During these visits, we’ll screen for warning signs of common oral health conditions, and help you prevent minor damage from developing into a major concern.

What is periodontal disease?

Periodontal disease is commonly referred to as gum disease, and it occurs when plaque and tartar buildup at the gum line irritates gum tissue leading to sores, inflammation, and even bone or tooth loss in the advanced stages. We offer a variety of periodontal therapies to renew oral health.

Why are you so different from other practices?

At Lakefront Dental, our doctors care for your smile from the moment you arrive. They puts their decades of experience to work caring for every aspect of your smile. We’re not like those practices where patients only see the dentist for a few minutes.

Can I bring my kids to your office?

We’re happy to offer care for the whole family. Dr. Ceisel has years of experience providing children’s dentistry and geriatric services.

Does teeth whitening work?

Unlike over the counter whitening products that promise dramatic results they can’t deliver on, our professional teeth whitening solutions are able to brighten smiles up to ten shades.

Should I consider dental implants?

If you’re missing one or more teeth, dental implants may be a great tooth replacement option. Unlike other solutions that only restore the visible parts of smiles, dental implants replace both the roots and crowns of lost teeth for a more natural result.
